Indeed it is envy as the questioner has stated. There is an evidence both in the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of the Prophet that magic exists and the reality proves it as well. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. To what extent can I go to remove the "Sihr" from me if in fact this is what it is? Is it permissible to find out who initiated the "Sihr" and how is one to find out? What is it exactly that we believe about "Sihr"? I know that nothing happens without Allaah's will so why would "Sihr" have effected me? Does that mean I am weak in faith? He was convinced that it was indeed "Sihr."
Immediately after drinking the water I began to tremble and became very light headed. At my wicks end, I went to see him today and he gave me water to drink that he had read Qur'aan on.
Many people suggested that it sounded like "Sihr" of some sort and someone recommended a Shaykh to me who dealt with these kinds of things. I went to the hospital and I was told I had a very large mass in my chest, however even after countless testing, not a single one of my 4 doctors could tell me what this mass is!! They have a surgery scheduled next week and I was told that the positioning of this mass is going to make it a surgery involving many risks. Both of us have just said and done things that were completely not the way 2 people who love each other like we do would treat the other! Just recently we purchased a beautiful home and a few weeks later I started to have severe chest pain. My husband and I have been married for over 7 years now (Al-Hamdu Lillaah) and I couldn't love him more, however we have had some severe marital trouble in the past. I try to be a good practicing Muslim but I still have a lot to learn so any light you can shed on this topic I would really appreciate.
